With powerful vocals and blazing old school guitar licks, Humble Pie’s “I Believe to My Soul” remains a favorite with loyal fans. From 1973’s Eat It LP, this is when Peter Frampton was in the band and it shows. Pete’s explosive fretwork on this Ray Charles remake is classic. The band’s rocked R&B-ish and bluesy frontman, Steve Marriott, formerly of The Small Faces, was truly one-of-a-kind. So was the rest of Humble Pie.
