These Philadelphia-based space-rockers crank out killer axe riffs while the lead singer delivers a coarse lo-fi-ish and fully contemporary sound on the newly released four-song EP, The New RockRoll Cosmology. But it gets better. OOLALA will donate half of the album proceeds to the organization MusiCares, established by the Recording Academy® (Grammy Awards) in 1989. According to its website, MusiCares offers “a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need.”
