Singer-songwriter David Martinez’s 52-date tour of the Lone Star State is an ambitious undertaking and a clear indication the summer concert season has begun. A seasoned live performer and SXSW veteran, David Martinez has concert residencies at several local venues in and around the “Naples of the Gulf.” An in-demand acoustic and electric guitarist, DM is a regular on the South Texas music scene. Additionally, to say Martinez is community minded would be an understatement. The talented fretster supports and often performs for various music-related events. But it gets even better. Martinez is a founding member of Texas Indie Fest 2, which celebrates independent musicians. The artist also introduced the new Independent Music Series at the
